From the beginning of conflict, IDPs have lived under extremely difficult circumstances, and their situation is so bad that they are willing to risk their lives and return to their homes despite the insecurity there. They live in schools, but face constant pressure from the host communities to vacate them. The influx of IDPs has put tremendous strain on the already weak services. It has also burdened the host families who are themselves very poor. IDPs also face protection issues.
Non Food Items (NFIs) Distribution Pure Hands implemented the Non Food Items (NFIs) Distribution Project in Sana’a, Al-Hodeidah, Socotra, Ibb and Taiz governorates.
